The Facility Director oversees waste processing operations at our plant, emphasizing safety, environmental responsibility, and operational efficiency. With a focus on waste-to-energy conversion, this role requires leadership in health, safety, and environmental practices, while driving performance, productivity, and community relations. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
This position is located in Niagara Falls, NY.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in power plants or manufacturing, ideally in power generation or material handling.
- Previous management experience in industrial facilities preferred, with expertise in chemical or mechanical engineering desirable.
- Proven leadership skills, including project management and cost control.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building abilities.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and HS&E programs.
- Demonstrated success in driving organizational development and process improvement.
Compensation:
- $150,000-$180,000/year base salary depending on experience
- 20% annual bonus
